Speech and Language Assessment and Therapy

Staff Training

· General training on how to support children's communication skills in the classroom.

· Specific training as required on a range of speech, language

and communication difficulties such as:

- Autism

- Developmental Language Disorder

- Stammering

- Speech difficulties

- Selective Mutism

Assessment

· Including classroom observation,

discussion with class teacher and parents,

informal/formal assessment as required.

· Report with advice, strategies and

suggested targets.

Therapy

· Therapy sessions for children who need specialist speech and language intervention.

· School staff are encouraged to attend

to enable maximum progress.

An initial assessment session plus full report with strategies start at £175 for informal assessment and £215 for formal assessment.

Group / individual therapy sessions are priced according to need / time required etc.
